Me on piano. I doubled it by playing two different times on each channel. Piano located in music school on campus. Done on Fostex X-26. The girl voice is Chanelle. I could have named song after her if I didn't already name a song after her on Yamaha PSS-480 Demos. Chanelle would call me late at night with messages like what you hear. Lucky for you I made sure to keep this answering machine cassette (Pictured). As you can see it is a “Instant Starting” cassette, made for answering machines. This gal was a methamphetamine addict, liar, a witch of a person yet I believed was hopelessly in love and believed she was my soul mate. So fucking wrong! Such massive time all wasted on nothing. Well not nothing if you count this song. I didn't pick up the phone and she was right, she haunts me in my dreams still. I have no idea who said “Check” it’s not me, probably a carry over from an old cassette. Cassette management was difficult people! (Answering machines used to be “Live”. I could be home listening to the messages live on speaker as it’s being made (unlike voicemail). I could pick up and answer in the middle of a message being made. So some messages like this one is the caller imploring me to answer the phone [or she will haunt me in my dreams]. Lovely.)
